Simhasta 2004

State Government has retained EPCO as consultant for the preparation of details Project relating to environmental management of Ujjain in view of Simhasta 2004. This project is a great achievement to the Organisation. A detailed Geo-scientific hydrology study of about 900 Sqm. Km. Upstream of kshipra was done and based on these suggestions technical, scientific and architectural work were completed within the stipulated time. The work under the project include; environmental studies of Saptasagar, ground water conservation of Ujjain, Roof Top Rain water harvesting at Ujjain, development of ‘padav’ in panchkoshi marg and development of other facilities, solid waste management of mela area, environmental sensitization and community awareness.
