Concept of the Logo: The logo is symbolic of various facets of the environment. The circular Form conveys its universal quality. The numerous vertical lines emphasize the multi-dimensional character of the problems of environmental planning and coordination.The four horizontal strata are indicative of the main resource groups: terrestrial, aquatic, biotic and solar. The graded vertical ascending strips suggest the yearning of man for a better life in a cleaner environment.

Current Event

  • Review meeting of Department for International Development(DFID) on 28 Sep.2006.
  • Under National Environment Awareness Campaign (NEAC), application for participation are being invited from NGO’s, educational institution etc. and last date for submission is 10 Oct.2006.
  • Under National Green Corps Scheme(NGC), two days training program is scheduled to be held from 4 th, 5 th Oct.2006 at pachmari. This training program is organize as a refresher training for the district master trainer of NGC & one Mogli quiz master from each district.
Under environmental education and awareness programmes, three days training workshop on “Environmental Education through Low Cost Teaching Aids and field demonstration was organized from 21st to 23rd July 2008 at RMNH. This training workshop was jointly organized by EPCO and RMNH for senior secondary school teachers.
